I really hate having to maximize the damn thing every time I start the browser. I wouldn't mind it if it at least started on center.

*Note to self* - that's the last time I try to do things the "easy" way. I will not upgrade my browser, nor any other program that works just fine for what I'm using it for.

    Quick answer: I don't know.

Longer answer: if they took a page from the IE book, then the program is probably storing a pref based on the window state when you last closed out of the program. So if you maximize the window, quit, and start the program again, the browser window should start out maximized.

Or not. But it's worth a try.

I don't use windows, so everything I say could be wrong. Saw it on a TV show while waiting for a download.

Think you need to get the properties of it or something like that and look for a "start maximized" checkbox. Though as I said, I could be wrong. :)
