I really hate browsing the web only to have to close out a dozen or so of these stupid windows that keep trying to sell me stuff. If I'm searching the web, don't you think I can find your crap myself if I really want it?

Know whats worse? I have an automatic twich to close those things asap. Just second nature now...
Along comes the "pop-unders" that pop open, then go to the background. So by the time I actually hit close? It kills the real browsing window. What an effective advertising tool... Gets me viewing the ad, and completely off the real website. Never to return in a lot of cases.

Use OmniWeb as your browser; it has the option to disable popups altogether.
