This raises the question: where are you looking for us?

We're everywhere. Like a plague. Or something.

The fallout from Pepsi Lemon v. Vanilla Coke was devastating

to our ranks... those upstart Pepsi Lemon drinkers are just too hard-headed to realize that like beer, Vanilla Coke is an ACQUIRED taste!!

    ...

and don't even get me started on diet soda drinkers!

Ed, who drinks soda, not pop. :)

It's neither soda, nor pop (and I'll gut ya' if'n you drink "soda pop"). They are either soft drinks, or cold drinks, depending on your upbringing. In our house, they were soft drinks. Soda is what you mix with scotch, and pop is the sound wine/champagne corks make.

most of us are doing our 'own' thing - but a few of us stull play TFL occasionally (on mariusnet) - and there are a group that hang out on cphl quite a bit. We're around, just not where you are I guess (:

I think I'll get off my chesterfield and tackle this issue.

Firstly -- why ruin perfectly good scotch by mixing with soda? If you _must_ water it down, well, use water, dammit (preferably in the frozen state)

As for what you call it, like 87% of my fellow Saskatchewanians, I call it "Pop."

Just because you have a mamby-pamby name for it where you come from doesn't mean the rest of us should use it. "Cold Drink"???? C'mon, is that really more creative than "Pop"? :)

Shucks, I s'pose y'all call "coffee" by the name of "Hot Drink" or somesuch.

Incidentally, neither "Cold Drink" nor "Soft Drink" were the preferred answer in the aforementioned link. The most common answer was "Coke." Talk about a society brainwashed by its "Pop" culture, eh? :)

WoW! All the "retard" States call it "PoP"

...While all the "Kewl" States call it "Soda"... it's true and rightful name.

And even tho 'pop' beat 'soda' as the overall most popular term, we all know that "kewlness' is always a minority thing. :)

    Fun stuff!
