Wow! Operation Flashpoint is one great game.

    <A HREF="http://www.flashpoint1985.com/">http://www.flashpoint1985.com/</A>

There is a demo there, the full game is much much much better then the demo.

You can buy it here, as a import, as it is not sold in the US yet.

The multiplayer works real well for such a "large" game. GameSpy is hosting the multiplayer or you can host a game with a ip.

Too bad WWIIonline does not play this well. Too bad OPF does not have huge maps and 100 people at a time in a battle.

    Re: OPF

Yeah, I had a lot of fun with the demo... only thing that kinda sucked is that it ran a little sluggishly, but my computer is verging on the junk stage again. pIII 500 mhz, 128 ram, cheapo vid card. I plan on giving it another spin through once I get the new computer (sometime in sept.).

Funny thing is, the full game runs better.....

I did notice that i had to turn down the vid settings in the demo to play well.

In the full game i run at 1027x768x32 with everthing set on full, everything, and it plays very well.

Also in multiplayer look for hosts that are ~200ms or less.
