    I'm still trying to figure out why I have gold. The trader's inventory has not changed, and everything I have is way better than he ever sold.

    Is there another trader somewhere down the line?

    I played this game for maybe 30 hours, maybe a bit more. I, too, have no idea why they included gold. I couldn't afford anything decent at first, and by the time I could, I no longer needed it.

    I gave up on this game after clearing the first dungeon completely, and a good bit of two other dungeon levels. I just got bored.
