I've looked around on the net, even went to nvidas web site, and can't seem to find a place selling a gf3 of gf4 mac. I remember something about the cards not being available unless you buy a brand spankin new system. Am I right there or is there somewhere I can purchase the sucker?

I think the trend among those in the 'know' is to buy a PC GF3 and flash it on a PC with the mac rom firmware file. Then plug the card into your mac and you're in business.

Then again, another current trend is to skip Geforce and go with ATI Radeon 8500.

    Good luck!

Thanks phree. I think I'ma gonna go with the ati. Macmall is the cheapest by about 20 bucks. 229 (that's including a $30 mail in rebate from ati)
