[/quote] Interesting. An Anti-war, anti-government, pro-market site. What bugs me about politics in America is oversimplification and polarization. There seems to be only one spectrum, the so-called, left/right, with the main contenders Democrats and Republicans fuzzying it up somewhere right of middle.
It's refreshing to read some relatively non-jingoistic, non-"mainstream" points of view, especially regarding the events of this week. What surprised me most was the similarities between some of those articles, and some articles at Z-Net.
I was surprised because the culture of Z Magazine is decidedly anti-capitalist, and wholly against a lot of the ideology I saw on lewrockwell.com, yet, you could almost lift verbatim the same points regarding US foreign policy.
Unfortunately, mainstream media seems to only have 3 labels to slap on people, Liberal, Conservative, and Radical.

Makes it easier for the General Populace to understand. I'm sure the News suppliers are concerned that they actually have to use *three* labels. With recent events, they should be happy that they can use just "Them" and "Us" for a while... :^P
