The only other Svedish gamer I've encountered (I think) is Cripple Wa, who is a swell fellow. This guy "Sun" is obviously suffering from a lack of oxygen to the brain. I, for one, feel pity for his condition. You should be ashamed of yourself SJ!
Americans consist of all ethnicities. As an american, I find it naive and predictable that anyone would clump us all together. This kind of thinking is indicative of a certain kind of european superficiality. Remeber, America is made of many different cultures and ethnicities living together. To speak of a stereotypical american is to speak from ignorance. There isn't one. But then you're probably not interested in reality, just denigration.
I bet there is an american dip inside of you buried under all of
that peanutbuttergrown fat! ewww!
Seriously, rootbeer tastes like a liquid form of a
toothpaste-copying chewing gum I know of: and that is not a good
thing. Trust me, you do not love rootbeer! I know what I'm
talking about, are you?
Or maybe there has been a missunderstanding. When I think of
rootbeer I think of a certain flavour, are there more than one?
You don't say rootbeer as in "soda", do you?
Because there is no way in hell you, as a non fat american, can
like the rootbeer I'm thinking of.
Now you lost me.
That kind of thinking is indicative of 'dumbness' or whatever. Using the term "european superficiality" is just as dumb and superficial.
I don't think America (the USA, right?) has any sort of monopoly on containing several ethnicities and religions within its borders. It's a fine semantic line to quibble over, but I think it's worth mentioning.

Unless that was meant in jest, I find it interesting that a post which warns against making cultural generalizations in one sentence then goes on to make a cultural generalization in the very next sentence.

Don't you get it ... it's OK if you generalize about other people, just don't generalize about US.
