Seeing as how this has become our soda board, I figured I should inform you all of the title. It tastes like a bad cherry cough drop. Has a nasty bite to it, too. Worse than Pepsi's. I'm a DP fiend, but this stuff is heinous.

It's all a matter of opinion. If you say that Red Fusion sucks, would everyone else in the world agree with you without tasting it? Hell no. I happened to buy a bottle on my vacation and loved it (although I can't find it anywhere in CT now). There's always going to be a difference of opinions, so stop trying to influence others' arbitrary decisions of taste.

Odd, it didn't seem to me that he was trying to influence anybody, just give his opinion that he doesn't like the taste of this Red Fusion stuff one bit.

Do you go to Ebert's board and tell him to stop trying to influence our taste for Master of Disguise? Signs? Lord of the Rings?

Thanks for letting us know that you liked it, but you shouldn't rag on people just for offering a strong, opposite opinion.

Me, I'm really curious to try it because Sliv' hated it so much. Haven't seen it 'round these parts, tho'.

I still have half of my first bottle left. If you want, I can send it to you.

BTW, I love offending people with my "opinion," if only to hear them cry, "You shouldn't be saying what you think of things!!!"

Oh, and never take anyone on AOL seriously....

mmmm... flat pop, shipped.

uhhhh... no, thanks. :)

Geez, missed that. My bad.

When I hear a comment like that, I'm reminded of the immortal words of Weird Al:

Hey Fella'
I bet yer still living in your parent's cella'
downloadin' pictures of Sarah Michelle Gellar
And postin' "Me Too" like some brain-dead AOL-er
I should do the world a favor and cap you like Old Yella'
You're just about as useless as JPEGs to Helen Keller

To veer off into another topic, a Weird Al quiz!

1. Name the song I just quoted.

2. Name the song it parodies. Bonus points for the artist.

3. In the video, Weird Al is giving a live concert. Where is the concert taking place?

4. Name a celebrity (other than Al and the band) who appears in the video. Bonus points if you can name two.

"It's All About the Pentiums" -- album: Running With Scissors

"It's All About the Benjamins" -- not sure of artist off hand.

Haven't seen the vid.

The answers!

It's all about the Pentiums is the correct answer!
2. Name the song it parodies. Bonus points for the artist.

It's all about the Benjamins by Puff Daddy/P.Diddy is correct. Good show, Deac!

As a Canadian, the reference in that song title wasn't immediately apparent when I first heard about it. Now I get it.

3. In the video, Weird Al is giving a live concert. Where is the
concert taking place?
Comdex, of course!
4. Name a celebrity (other than Al and the band) who appears in
the video. Bonus points if you can name two.
Deac is correct again, Drew Carey was the one I was going for.

Calling Emo Philips a celebrity is a bit of a stretch, but I would have accepted him as a bonus answer. He's a friend of Weird Al, and played the geek in the basement in the video.

I would also have accepted Bill Gates, ("Money" for short) even though it was just an impersonator and not the real deal.
